Fall Session

The summer session was a learning process. It started out as a completely unorganized effort on seemingly every shift and by the end there was something resembling cohesiveness. Our record was 1-8-1, with a win and a tie against the Goon Squad who also went 1-8-1 after a surprising win against the Average Joes in the final game (apparently there were some unfamiliar faces in uniform for their final game, I'll let you read between the lines).

Brentwood gives priority to returning teams and there were no spots for the Pickles in the Fall/Winter/Spring session in the Friday Intermediate league. So a few of us have joined a team on the Saturday Novice league to keep our skates underneath us. It's a Fall and Spring league, 8 games a piece. There are no named teams, each team is assigned a color. The remnants of Pickles will be playing on team Black.

Plus another six new players and a new goalie who signed up for the league and were put on the same squad. We hope for it to be a fun Fall Session.
